We are the salt and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13-16). We seek to live as the catalysts of change and be the agents of His transforming presence in every sphere in our society and the world. We engage in all areas of life as part of our witness. We want to be obedient to God in advocacy and in the pursuit of justice and care for the vulnerable.
One of the ways we do this is to learn and be informed about key issues facing our communities, and pray for guidance as we think through how biblical principles apply in these areas.

- The first responsibility of the Church in abuse cases is to help those who have been abused and to protect those who may be vulnerable to future abuse.
